Zakiya Jafri case: Congress hits out at Modi govt over clean chit

After reports surfaced that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) set up by the Supreme Court to investigate the 2002 Gujarat riots cases has given a clean chit to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi in its final report on a complaint by riot victim Zakiya Jafri. Addressing a press conference on Thursday, Congress spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi called the BJP double-faced and said that if BJP's claims on report are true, it raises questions on the BJP and the SIT.
