Vijay, who is currently short of the 118-seat majority mark by six MLAs, met the Governor for the second time as discussions over government formation intensified. In a rare move, Raj Bhavan issued a statement explaining its concerns over the lack of clear majority support. With TVK now reaching out to smaller parties for backing, Tamil Nadu remains in political limbo while the swearing-in ceremony is delayed.
