Srinagar simmers on peace package eve

It was Eid in the valley on Saturday, but the mood was far from festive. Sringar it seemed, simply erupted. A protest by the separatists, meant to be peaceful seemed to lose control. A call by separatist leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq for a march from Idgah to Lal Chowk, had potent results.
