Anti-Pakistan Protests | POK vs Jammu & Kashmir: How The Tale of Two Kashmirs Differ

Rawalakot, Muzaffarabad and Mirpur in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK) have witnessed unrest, detentions and killings that have challenged Islamabad's authority in the region. Yet, barely a hundred kilometres away across the Line of Control (LoC), the story unfolding in Jammu and Kashmir is markedly different — one defined by infrastructure and development rather than protests. Once completed, the all-weather tunnel is expected to become Asia's longest bidirectional tunnel, strengthening connectivity between Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh throughout the year.
