Karnataka Minister takes U-turn on remark over women's dress code

Karnataka's minister for Women and Child Welfare, CC Patil, says remarks attributed to him about the way women should dress have been misinterpreted. Mr Patil had been quoted saying that 'women ought to know how much skin they should cover when they leave for work' - referring to women who work in the night shift in IT companies and call centres.
