Students at IIT-Madras are on a week-long protest against the government's proposal of 27 per cent OBC reservation in centrally-funded institutions. Nearly 700 students have launched a protest march, walking through the 630-acre campus. They have decided to wear black armbands throughout the week to register their viewpoint.
