CNG Price Hike | 'Nothing Is Left To Save': Drivers Hit By CNG Price Hike | Fuel Price Hike

Commuters and drivers across Delhi NCR have voiced concern over the latest hike in CNG prices, saying the repeated increase is severely impacting their earnings and household budgets. Speaking to NDTV at a CNG station in Delhi, auto and cab drivers said rising fuel prices, coupled with declining income, have made it difficult to sustain their families. Several drivers said food and daily living expenses have also increased sharply, while transport companies have not revised fares despite the fuel price hike. Many described the situation as financially stressful, adding that they are being forced to absorb the losses themselves. The latest ₹1 per kg increase comes just days after earlier hikes in petrol, diesel, and CNG prices, intensifying concerns over inflation and rising transport costs across the NCR region.
