Reacting to the detention and subsequent arrest of veteran social activist Anna Hazare in New Delhi, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N. Chandrababu Naidu today said that the Centre’s move was unwarranted and unconstitutional. The TDP chief held a march in Hyderabad against corruption and said that the government’s move against the 74-year-old Gandhian violated democratic principles.
