2G scam: Kapil Sibal springs to Chidambaram's defence

The government on Saturday came in defence of home minister P Chidamabaram in the backdrop of intensifying calls by the opposition for his resignation over his alleged role in the 2G scam. Telecom minister Kapil Sibal said: “People in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) are trying to malign and defame P Chidambaram. We reject all allegations against him.”
