South Africa donned pink uniform to promote breast cancer awareness in Johannesburg on Sunday. The Proteas beat Pakistan by 34 runs in the third ODI to take a 2-1 lead in the 5-match series. South Africa skipper AB de Villiers and Hashim Amla smashed 238 runs to set a world-record stand for the third wicket.
Skipper AB de Villiers top-scored with 128 runs to guide South Africa to a challenging total in the third ODI in Johannesburg. Although South African oufits were pink their pads remained green.
AB De Villiers and Hashim Amla put on 238 runs off 182 balls to better the mark of 237 set by India's Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar against Kenya at Bristol during the 1999 World Cup.
