Jwala Gutta in a new Avatar: her debut film!
All might not be going well for Jwala Gutta on the badminton front, with Ashwini Ponnappa 'breaking-up' the successful partnership, but she is on her way to do something literally out of the box. In the upcoming Tollywood movie Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde, Jwala will be seen in a special song opposite actor Nithin Reddy.

The badminton player of mixed Indian and Chinese descent, has won the national badminton championships 13 times. She has partnered Shruti Kurien and later Ashwini Ponnappa. Jwala also married Chetan Anand, an Arjuna Awardee; however, the two divorced in 2011.
