It's funny how while we are at school, we make it a point to dislike most of our teachers. We hate it when they stop us from having 'fun,' scold us for not finishing our homework, give us a surprise test and, most of all, we hate the punishments they hand out. However, it's when we grow up and leave the hallowed halls of our alma maters that we understand and appreciate the lessons those same teachers taught us and not always from textbooks.

Teacher's Day is one day when we probably miss school the most. All the mischief managed and all the times we got caught come back to us in a wave of nostalgia.

More often than not, we realize how the little things we picked up from our teachers have managed to stay with us. We remember how our love for reading comes from that great story teller in school who made every literature lesson fun. Or that one teacher who recognised our talent in singing or dancing and pushed us to pursue it.

We imbibe many qualities from our teachers without even knowing it. Using this very idea, a YouTube channel has put up a wonderful video showing us three beautiful instances when people reflect on the different things they learnt from their teachers.

The video shows us how there's a part of our beloved teachers in all of us.

Take a look at the video and use the comments box below to share one such thing your teacher taught you besides the syllabus.
