Tough to answer Qs since matter is sub-judice: Anil Ambani
New Delhi: Anil Ambani has told a parliamentary committee that it's tough for him to answer any questions on the 2G spectrum scam since the matter is now sub-judice and is being heard by the Supreme Court.

Mr Ambani's  Reliance Telecom is one of the companies listed for financial irregularities in the chargesheet filed last week by the CBI , which is investigating the scam.

Gautam Doshi, the Managing Director of Mr Ambanis' parent company, the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG) has been accused for conspiracy an abetment of cheating along with two other ADAG executives.

They have been accused of setting up Swan Telecom as a front to acquire more spectrum than was legally permissible in 2008 from A Raja, who was then Telecom Minister and is now in jail.

The scam studied by the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of Parliament, which is meeting with top industrialists linked to the scam. Yesterday, the same committee met Ratan Tata.

The PAC is also likely to ask Principal Secretary to the PM, T K A Nair, and Cabinet Secretary K M Chandrasekhar to appear before it.

Sources have told NDTV that the Committee is likely to end its hearings on April 20, and submit its report by May 11.
