"I have travelled so many times on this route, but this time just when we were about to land, I felt there was a
lafda (problem)," said Mayan Kutti, who had a miraculous escape after he managed to jump out of the aircraft.
His friend Abubakker, who landed from the US on Sunday morning, could not help feeling nervous when his plane touched down.
"My daughter had read about this yesterday in all the newspapers, she was so afraid," said Abubakker after landing in India.
But for now the Mayan Kutti's wife is greatly relieved that her husband is alive to tell the tale.
