It was another chilly morning for Delhiites on Friday as the mercury again plummeted to below 10 degree Celsius mark.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 9.7 degree Celsius, down from yesterday's 10 degrees. On Wednesday, the minimum was 11.7 degree Celsius.
The Met department said the days ahead may get colder with the mercury likely to dip further. The minimum and maximum is likely to hover around 10 and 26 degree Celsius respectively on Saturday, they said.
The Met officials also predicted mist or shallow fog in the morning and partly cloudy sky in the evening. During the last one week, the temperature in the city has mostly been oscillating between 10 and 25 degrees Celsius.
The season's lowest of 7.9 degree Celsius was recorded on Saturday last, which was also the lowest for the month of November in the past three years.
