Zohran Mamdani News | US President Donald Trump pushed back on Rep. Elise Stefanik’s description of New York Assemblymember Zohran Mamdani as a “jihadist,” saying he does not agree with that label. Trump said Stefanik may have been speaking in the heat of a campaign, but called her “very capable.” Trump added that Mamdani appeared “rational” and someone who “wants to see New York be great again,” even saying he would feel “comfortable” living in New York under Mamdani.
