Wild Elephants Damage Crop, Chase People in Residential Area in Assam

A wild elephant ran after people while they tried to chase it away from a residential area in Assam's Goalpara on Tuesday. Residents said a herd of 40 wild elephants from a nearby jungle took shelter in their area in search of food. The elephants damaged paddy crop.
