The White House said Tuesday President Donald Trump will discuss his agenda and first year accomplishments in a prime-time address to the nation Wednesday night, as well as his plans for the next three years. "He's going to talk a lot about the accomplishments over the past 11 months, all that he's done to bring our country back to greatness and all he continues to plan to do to continue delivering for the American people over the next three years," White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters. Leavitt said she had just come from the Oval Office, where she and Trump discussed the address. "It's going to be a really good speech," she said. The press secretary also defended White House chief of staff Susie Wiles amid a bombshell profile in Vanity Fair that has sent sent shock waves through Washington while sending the West Wing into damage control.
