Vijay Vs Governor: Sources Say TVK Wants Swearing-In Tomorrow
Actor-turned-politician Vijay met the Tamil Nadu Governor RV Arlekar today - for a third time in as many days - to try and resolve a continuing deadlock over the formation of the next government. Sources said Vijay finally has the numbers to form the government, with the latest taking it past the majority mark of 118 seats. At the Lok Bhavan, he staked claim to form the government with the support of 118 MLAs. Sources said the oath-taking ceremony is expected to take place tomorrow at 11 am.
