The BJP has intensified its attack on Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of encouraging unrest and attempting to destabilise democratic institutions. At a press conference, the party cited alleged remarks by activists and student leaders on protests, violence and regime change, and raised questions about the funding of ongoing demonstrations, claiming one organisation receives ₹5 lakh a day. The BJP also alleged links between opposition leaders and foreign organisations, including the Progressive International. It further accused Rahul Gandhi of using women protesters as a shield during demonstrations and questioned his conduct towards a woman police officer. These allegations come amid the escalating political battle over vote theft and the Opposition's protests against the government.
