Venezuela News | "Violations Of International Law": Shashi Tharoor Reacts To US' Attack On Venezuela
Reacting to the US attack on Venezuela and the capture of President Nicolas Maduro, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor expressed deep concern over what he called violations of international law and the UN Charter. Tharoor said principles of sovereignty, inviolability of borders and the inadmissibility of using force to settle international disputes had been breached. He added that while the situation did not escalate militarily, Venezuela’s Vice President has assumed the role of Interim President and efforts appear to be underway to restore normalcy.
