Rajiv Kumar, former chairman NITI Aayog, said the Indian economy is that not isolated from all that's happening in the global economy. "We know that this is unprecedented synchronised downturn in the global economy that is taking place. But we probably are one bright spot in the global environment. We remain a very good story as far as foreign investors are concerned and as far as global economy observers are concerned," he said. On the question of fiscal deficit, he said GST revenues are buoyant and that the government has enough fiscal space. To balance out the Current Account Deficit, he said is required is far bigger focus on how to push out exports
