Tamil Nadu Woman Killed While Shielding Daughter from Alleged Attack by Ex-Fiancé
A woman was allegedly hacked to death while trying to protect her 21-year-old daughter from an attack by the daughter’s former fiancé in Tamil Nadu’s Kanyakumari district. Police said the accused allegedly entered the family’s home and attacked the daughter after she refused to go ahead with the marriage. The mother died while shielding her daughter, who sustained serious injuries and is undergoing treatment. The accused has been taken into custody, and the investigation is underway.
