A fresh political row has erupted in Tamil Nadu after the BJP alleged that a TVK functionary was caught accepting a bribe. The BJP shared a video claiming that Veera, identified as the Joint Secretary of TVK's Thavatcha East District unit, accepted ₹1.3 lakh from a government contractor. The BJP has used the alleged footage to target TVK chief Vijay, accusing the party of failing to uphold its promise of clean and corruption-free politics. TVK has not yet issued an official response to the allegations.
