Temple Funds For Temples Only, Quashes Tamil Nadu Government Order: Madras High Court
The Madras High Court has quashed five government orders permitting the construction of marriage halls using temple funds. The court ruled that the government is bound to use temple funds solely for the maintenance, development, and religious purposes of the temples.
