Rajan S Mathews, Director-General of COAI (GSM cellular operators body) told NDTV that they have written to the Prime Minister to intervene to bring down the reserve price for 2G spectrum that is due to be auctioned in February. He says Digital India idea will remain a dream if spectrum prices remain high because that will limit the ability of telecom companies to increase their capes on network rollout.
