Superstars Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan Take On Tamil Nadu Government Over Liquor Sale

Two superstars of Tamil cinema - Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan - have hit out at the AIADMK government of sale of liquor in Tamil Nadu amid coronavirus lockdown, which has now become a political issue. The state government government on Saturday moved the Supreme Court on after it was directed by Madras High Court to shut alcohol shops because of massive crowds that make social distancing during the shutdown a challenge.
