Srinagar News | Srinagar Records Season's Coldest Night As Early Winter Grips Kashmir

Srinagar experienced its coldest night of the season, with temperatures dropping to minus 4.5°C on Thursday, as early winter tightens its grip on Kashmir. The city's streets were dotted with familiar winter scenes-people wrapped in heavy jackets, carrying kangris (earthen pots with burning charcoal), and gathering around makeshift bonfires for warmth. Locals note that the winter seems to have arrived earlier than usual this year, signaling a chilly start to the season.
