Parched Was Very Challenging, Says Radhika Apte

Actress Radhika Apte, who will be seen as a rural woman struggling to get pregnant in Parched, said that her character was nothing like she has done before and hence it was very challenging. "The beauty of how she (director Leena Yadav) has carved the character is that because she (the character) thinks she is worthless, so she is reckless. She talks about whatever she wants to talk about and does whatever she wants to do as she has nothing to lose. And that makes her a very joyous person. So there's a beautiful contradiction there and a beautiful character sketched by Leena," said Radhika.
