Day 2 of Hitachi Social Innovation Forum 2015 that took place in New Delhi was inaugurated by Dr Jagdish Prasad, Director General of Health Services, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. Moderated by Bianca Ghose, Managing Editor, India Weber Shandwick, the session started with a keynote by Prem Singh, Senior Manager, Infrastructure Systems Company, Hitachi India Pvt. Ltd. and Masayoshi Tamura, General Manager, Software Group, Hitachi India Pvt. Ltd. on reducing overall hospital costs through adoption of information and communication technology (ICT). The panel comprised of Dr MC Misra, Director, All India Institute of Medical Sciences; Keiya Iida, Assistant Minister, Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) Deputy Director-General, Office of Healthcare Policy, Cabinet Secretariat; Dr Vivek Desai, Managing Director, HOSMAC India; Prem Singh, Senior Manager, Infrastructure Systems Company, Hitachi India Pvt.
