Scuffle At Thiruvananthapuram Corporation As CPI(M), BJP Councillors Clash
Tension erupted at the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation after CPI(M) and BJP councillors clashed outside the Mayor's office amid protests over BJP councillor R Sugathan's arrest and the oath-taking row. Several women councillors were reportedly injured and taken to hospital as police intervened. The confrontation comes months after the BJP-led NDA ended the LDF's 45-year rule at the Corporation.
