Kerala’s college campuses have turned festive as students celebrate Onam with traditional attire, music, dance and cultural programmes. At University College in Thiruvananthapuram, students kicked off a three-day celebration featuring rallies, traditional art forms, a mega Thiruvathira, Onam games, cultural performances and a grand Onam Sadya. The celebrations reflect Onam’s spirit of prosperity, togetherness and community, with Thiruvonam falling on August 26 this year.
