‘Miracle Lion Cubs’ Simba And Soori Make Public Debut At Thiruvananthapuram Zoo

Simba and Soori, the “miracle lion cubs” of Thiruvananthapuram Zoo, have made their public debut just in time for Onam. Born on January 21, the cubs were rejected by their mother, Nyla, and were placed under the care of zoo officials. After months of round-the-clock fostering, specialised milk preparation, frequent feeding and medical care, the cubs have grown healthy and strong enough to move into their enclosure. Kerala Minister O J Janeesh officially opened the enclosure, giving visitors their first chance to see the young lions.
