S-400's Success In Operation Sindoor, S-500 The Next Game Changer
India's S-400 missile system, already in service, proved its mettle during Operation Sindhu by intercepting high-speed Pakistani cruise missiles and an AWACS aircraft at a record range of 314 km. Ahead of the Modi-Putin summit, India plans to double its S-400 order. Meanwhile, Russia is promoting the next-generation S-500 system, capable of intercepting intercontinental ballistic missiles. Unlike the S-400, the S-500 could be co-produced with India, marking a major leap in India–Russia defence collaboration.
