Reliance Loses Rs 40,000 Crore In Market Cap As Nifty Hits 18-Month Low
Reliance Industries was among the biggest heavyweight losers as the Nifty hit a fresh 18-month low, ending below 22,250. Reliance lost nearly Rs 40,000 crore in market capitalisation, with the stock trading close to its 18-month low and down more than 27% from its all-time high. HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank together also lost over ₹17,000 crore in market cap.
