Are Indian cities liveable? As per Economic Intelligence Unit's Global Liveability Index 2022, only 5 Indian cities - Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Ahmedabad, and Bengaluru made it to the list of 173 cities ranked globally. RBI's latest report also highlighted poor infrastructure and financial condition of urban local bodies.
