A letter written in 2015 by one of the middlemen in the Agusta scam, Christian Michel, adds a new twist to the Agusta tale. He claims to be under pressure to name Gandhis. He repeats the allegation of deal between PM Narendra Modi and the Italian PM on the marines case in exchange for evidence of Agusta link to the Gandhi family. The BJP is poking holes in the letter saying that Modi-Italian PM meeting never took place. They argue that if one part of the central claims of this letter has already proven to be false, why shouldn't the letter be treated as anything but a piece of fiction. On The Buck Stops Here, we ask whether Michel is lying. Also on the show, we discuss Italian judge's interview to NDTV which punctures the Congress' defence.
