Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing a rally in Cooch Behar, reiterated the Centre’s push for 33% reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies. Highlighting women’s empowerment, he said the government aims to enhance women’s role in decision-making and ensure the benefits reach across the country, including West Bengal.
