Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Parliament today during the ongoing Budget Session. The Prime Minister delivered a note of thanks to President Ram Nath Kovind's joint address last week. The prime minister spoke about elections and said he does not care about winning or losing. PM Modi said government is "moving ahead to create strong, safe, prosperous India" and people "have given a clear mandate to the government to continue the developmental journey that started in 2014". He also attacked the Congress and spoke about the Emergency, calling it a "blot on democracy."
