Japan begins evacuation drive

Residents stranded on rooftops in the city of Kesennuma, in Japan's northeastern Miyagi prefecture, were rescued by helicopter on Saturday, after the area around their homes was inundated with water, mud and fallen trees following Friday's huge earthquake and tsunami.
