I met Army chief for re-employment: Lt Gen (Retired) Tejinder Singh

Retired Lt General Tejinder Singh is believed to be the man who offered the army chief a bribe of 14 crores in 2010 to clear a batch of trucks for purchase. Speaking to NDTV, Mr Singh said that he met the chief in September 2010 for "a personal matter" and that the conversation did not refer to trucks or other equipment. He denied offering any money, and has sued the army chief, General V K Singh, for defamation.
