Women often feel shy about discussing their ailments when they visit a doctor. To ensure that women feel comfortable while describing their health and reproductive issues, the Delhi government has opened Mahila Mohalla clinics in four locations in Delhi. The Mahila Mohalla clinics are fully operated by women staff. They aim to provide free gynaecological and paediatric medical services -- exclusively to women and girls below the age of 12-years.
