INDIA Bloc Meets Amid Growing Cracks, Allies Turn Heat On Congress

The INDIA bloc's crucial strategy meeting in Delhi has been overshadowed by growing differences among opposition allies. While 23 parties are participating in the meeting, key allies such as the DMK and AAP have stayed away, raising fresh questions about the alliance's cohesion and future direction. Several opposition leaders have openly criticised the Congress party's approach, accusing it of failing to manage alliance partners effectively and questioning its political strategy in states such as Kerala and Puducherry. Despite the tensions, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge urged allies to remain united against the BJP, highlighting issues such as electoral reforms, student unrest and the opposition's parliamentary strategy. As the alliance attempts to present a united front ahead of upcoming political battles, the focus remains on whether the INDIA bloc can bridge internal differences and maintain opposition unity, or whether growing mistrust among partners could weaken the coalition further.
