Paris Pepper Spray Sales Surge Ahead Of Fresh Protests After Unrest

Sales of pepper spray have risen at a gun shop in central Paris following a weekend of unrest in France, as student groups and the Yellow Vest movement call for fresh demonstrations on Saturday, October 24. Shop owner Yves Goletty told Reuters that nearby businesses had been looted and pepper spray canisters were among his best-selling products. Under French law, such products may only be used in self-defence.
