Part Of Chamba-Manimahesh Road Use Prohibited After Landslide
As parts of a hill slide off onto a key tourist road near Chamba in Himachal Pradesh, the district authorities have prohibited the public from accessing the road as a precautionary measure. There is a heavy influx of tourists to this area around this season for Lord Shiva Darshan near Manimahesh Lake and Manimahesh Hill. The crack occurred on Wednesday afternoon on the road leading to Manimahesh Dal Lake in Bharmour assembly constituency of Chamba district. This slide happened between Guinala and Donali, although there was no loss of life or property reported. The video was captured by a tourist on this route.
