A frightening moment was caught on CCTV in Pune’s Pimpri-Chinchwad area after a young child’s hand got stuck in a lift door inside a housing society in the Dighi locality. The incident occurred when the lift doors began closing just as the child’s hand was resting on the door panel. Panic broke out inside the lift as the child cried in pain and the woman accompanying her raised an alarm. Residents quickly rushed to help, and after several tense moments, they managed to safely free the child’s hand. The dramatic rescue was captured on the society’s CCTV cameras.
