The Odisha train tragedy has put the focus back on rail infrastructure in India. As we look to transform Indian railways with more high-speed trains, is there a need to modernise our safety measures? Prof Anil Gupta of National Institute of Disaster Management says we need to strengthen our monitoring system to avoid such train tragedies in the future.
