Vande Bharat Express Strikes Buffalo on Hyderabad–Bengaluru Route

Satya Sai Dist (AP) Vande Bharat Express travelling from Kachiguda Hyderabad to Bengaluru collided with a barrage that had come onto the tracks between Hindupuram and Devarapalli railway stations. The train struck a buffalo that had wandered onto the railway track near Hindupur railway station. Fortunately, since the train was moving at a low speed while approaching the station, a major accident was avoided. Passengers on board were briefly alarmed following the incident. Upon receiving information, railway officials from Hindupur rushed to the spot and conducted a detailed inspection of the train. The buffalo died in the accident and was removed from the track by railway staff. Officials confirmed that the train had not suffered any significant damage and was fit to continue its journey. After being halted for approximately 30 minutes, the Vande Bharat Express resumed its journey towards Bengaluru. Railway authorities stated that no passengers were injured and no major damage was reported.
