Assam News | 1 Woman Killed After Car Collides With Speeding Train, Dragged For 500 Metres
A tragic accident occurred at Dekapam in Assam when a passenger train collided with a car attempting to cross railway tracks. The Arunachal Pradesh-registered vehicle was struck by the approaching Ledo–Murkongselek DEMU Express at the Dekapam Deka-Shantipur crossing. Following the impact, the car became lodged beneath the train and was dragged for nearly 500 metres. The incident claimed the life of one woman and left another person injured. Authorities are investigating the circumstances that led to the fatal collision.
