Neeraj Ghaywan talks about why he makes social dramas such as Homebound and Masaan.
"No one is talking about the marginalised people or people who belong to different backgrounds. Our stories are only limited to 15% of our population... City is not the villain, it however, makes us one.
"Our eating habits, religion, and caste, or ideology may be different, but what's most important is empathy and humanity. Not just towards who look like us or talk like us, but also towards those who are different to us. We should not discount the humanity between us," the filmmaker said.
